ZoneBlock requests the following permissions to function properly:
Why we need it: To detect when you enter or exit your focus zones.
How we use it: Your location is processed entirely on your device using iOS geofencing. We never send your location to any server.
Permission type: "Always" access is required for background zone detection.
Why we need it: To block selected apps when you're in focus zones or during meetings.
How we use it: We use Apple's Screen Time API to apply app restrictions. This data stays on your device.
Why we need it: For Driving Mode to detect when you're driving.
How we use it: Motion data is processed locally to determine if you're in a vehicle. This data never leaves your device.
Why we need it: For Meeting Focus to block apps during calendar events.
How we use it: We read your calendar events locally to determine meeting times. Calendar data is never uploaded or shared.
Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We use Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases.
ZoneBlock does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external service we interact with is Apple's App Store for subscription management, which is handled entirely by iOS.
Since all data stays on your device:
ZoneBlock does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information at all, the app is safe for users of all ages. However, parental guidance is recommended for users under 13.

However, since ZoneBlock does not collect, sell, or share personal information, these rights are not applicable. We have no personal information to disclose, delete, or opt-out from.

Since ZoneBlock does not process personal data, GDPR obligations related to data collection, storage, and processing do not apply. All app functionality occurs locally on your device.
